Da Vomit Comet is runnin'! 12.95 seconds is best so far.

This is the motor either going in or coming out...can't remember.

Trev and I ran into a few interesting problems during the reassembly time. From a whole set of flexplate bolts that were mysteriously too long, to having to modify a torque converter to fit the 460's crank pilot...you name it, we re-engineered it.

Cut out the shock towers.
Not so the engine fits, cuz it fits fine without cutting. It's so you can change your plugs.
Done. Finished. And thank christ, too.
I was ready to shove this car up somebodies ASS! I guess I didn't realize just how much of a car gets lost over four years of being torn apart. How many nuts and bolts I put into that damn Cutlass and any thing else I happened to work on in there. It just turned out to be a much larger job than I had anticipated, and I'm glad it's running and driving. It's not done yet, it's just running and driving. Thanks to everyone for their donated time and parts and nuts and bolts!
Ugly ain't it?
But I'll bet it can kick your riced up rides ASS!!!

Keep on keepin' on!
